Matar Paneer Recipe :- A Classic Indian Delight

 

Ingredients:

  • RHM Masale Matar Paneer Masala – 2 tbsp
  • Paneer (cottage cheese) – 200g (cubed)
  • Green peas – 1 cup (fresh or frozen)
  • Onion – 2 medium (finely chopped)
  • Tomato – 2 medium (pureed)
  • Ginger-Garlic Paste – 1 tsp
  • Green chilies – 2 (slit)
  • Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
  • RHM Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
  • RHM Red chili powder – 1 tsp
  • RHM Garam Masala – ½ tsp
  • Cream or yogurt – 2 tbsp (optional)
  • Salt – to taste
  • Oil or ghee – 2 tbsp
  • Fresh coriander leaves – for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Base:
    Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

  2. Add Flavors:
    Stir in ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the raw smell disappears.

  3. Cook the Masala:
    Add tomato puree, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and RHM Masale Matar Paneer Masala. Cook until the oil separates from the masala.

  4. Add Peas:
    Stir in the green peas and cook for 5 minutes. If using fresh peas, cook until tender.

  5. Paneer Time:
    Gently add paneer cubes to the pan. Mix well, ensuring the masala coats the paneer and peas.

  6. Creamy Touch (Optional):
    Add cream or yogurt for a rich texture. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minuteser leaves.
